LINDEMANN – Praise Abort

LINDEMANN: ‘Praise Abort’ is the first video from LINDEMANN’s (a collaboration from Rammstein’s Till Lindemann and Pain’s Peter Tägtgren) upcoming debut album Skills In Pills.

Directed by Zoran Bihac the clip features Tägtgren and Lindemann as anthropomorphised swine and is layered in subtext, check it out below.

Albums like this don’t come along often: violent, visceral and courageous, Skills In Pills is a listening experience like no other. The final revelation is that this album was never meant to happen: it was only ever supposed to be a throwaway collaboration between two friends. As Tägtgren explains: “This is the result of a year of fucking around with sounds! We had no idea that we’d go as far as releasing an entire album, but this thing has just got bigger and bigger.”

The twisted product of two uniquely creative minds, Skills In Pills is your new medicine. Take it now.

Freddy Krueger kickin’ it in “Are You Ready For Freddy”

Freddy Krueger raps for 'A Nightmare On Elm Street 4'

Freddy Krueger: Ready to kick it old school? We’re heading back to 1988 to hang with The Fat Boys for their rap single “Are You Ready For Freddy”, which was released as the theme for A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream MasterThe video opens with the hip hop group meeting a lawyer, outside of an slightly haunted and suspicious looking house, who informs them that in order to receive Uncle Frederick’s (see what was done there?) estate, they must stay the night in the house. Once they enter, all hell breaks loose, with the scares set to the freshest of beats. The best part is definitely Robert Englund appearing as Freddy Krueger who even provides his own raps. It’s lame, it’s awful, but it’s so damn good! Happy Friday, peeps! 🙂

Coco de Mer’s ‘X’ – Video of the Day

Coco de Mer invites us into an erotic realm; mixing wonder, danger and sex.

Coco de Mer: Under The Skin writer Walter Campbell and legendary photographer Rankin have paired up for X, a short film about sex that’s something of a sensory overload, made in partnership with underwear and sex toy brand Coco De Mer. Using a combination of found footage, seductive acting and an at times brutal soundtrack, X invites you into an otherworldly erotic realm; mixing danger, violence and sex. “The film embraces the sense of the ambient mind and what it might be inspired by, the transgression from banality into wonder”, says Campbell. “More and more I feel we enter the hinterlands of that dream state simply because the mind seeks something wilder, that unpredictable thing, the surprise moment. The film speaks about the morphing of these possibilities, and evokes Coco de Mer’s evolution of erotic thought. Coco de Mer embodies those wonderful flights of imagination that steer the mind to more extraordinary, more vital energies, and this campaign is an exciting platform for the brand to open up the erotic conversation even further.” It’s contemporary, erotic and a lil bit naughty, check it out – LOVE!
