This season, Archie Alled-Martinez shifts towards a different take on the 1970s. Exploring the street style of a “70s hustler”, ALLED-MARTINEZ unveils a SS22 Paris collection that includes, for the first time, non-knitted pieces, clashing them with styling elements and dress codes of today’s skateboarders.

A highly sensual, contemporary, and unbridled short film directed by photographer and director Barnaby Roper, ‘Scratch-N-Sniff’ oscillates between obvious erotic symbols, innuendo and psychedelic sequences. Superb photographic and film production values at work here. Love it! 🙂
Promoted in this beat box-style video created by Ogilvy Hong Kong, KFC in Hong Kong have partnered with McCormick, the spice company that mixes their secret recipe, to create a limited run of edible “finger lickin’ good” nail polishes that come in the most popular flavours such as Original and Hot & Spicy. This marketing gimmick takes licking your fingers to a whole new level…WTF?!
Created by design studio Secret Wood, these beautiful and unique wooden rings, that house dioramic scenes highlighting the beauty of nature, are created entirely by hand combining a mix of wood, resin, and beeswax. Every ring is completely handmade and bespoke, taking approximately four to five weeks to complete (with an expedited option) and can be ordered online. The end result is simply stunning – definitely our product of the day 🙂
Entitled ‘The Beauty is Inside’, American photographer Marc Lamey features a colourful and real insect coming out of the mouth of each model, combining macro photography and fashion photography, in striking compositions that explore the concept of inner beauty. Fantastic work! 🙂
So just when you thought you’d seen it all, Party Creative Lab have created the Song Wig – a very unique bluetooth-enabled hairpiece that houses tiny amplifiers and is made from numerous earbuds allowing the wearer to share music with their friends. Ummm, ok it’s a lil WTF but pretty cool when you think about it although not sure how practical. We’re seeing Song Wig listening parties – gettin’ wiggy wit it! 😉
James Rawson: We love the paintings of British artist James Rawson, defined as a postmodern pop artist, who blends painting and collage to create explosive and colourful compositions filled with references to movies, brands, comics, and other iconic pop cultural products and objects. While his work reflects on popular culture of the last 50 years, James Rawson also depicts associated social problems such as over-consumption, poverty, junk food, and the omnipresence of advertising. We’d kill for one of his pieces on our wall – awesome work! 🙂
