Unauthorized Full House Story: The first clip from the Unauthorized Full House Story was just released, and it’s safe to say that Lifetime has not strayed from its usual tacky path. We should have seen it coming, but that doesn’t make the casting choices for the movie any easier to accept. We imagined this schlock was going to give us a chance to reminisce about the good ol’ days, but the harsh reality set in when we were greeted with new, unfamilar and very dodgy versions of Uncle Joey, Uncle Jesse, Danny, D.J., Stephanie, and even Michelle Tanner. Just. plain. creepy.

Gabriel Moreno: We LOVE the creations of Spanish illustrator, graphic designer and artist Gabriel Moreno, who imagines colourful and captivating compositions made with a mixture of watercolour, pen and digital painting. Gabriel Moreno has also worked for many brands and publications, such as Nike, The Wall Street Journal, Rolex, Victoria’s Secret, GQ and Rolling Stone. Awesome work!
Jedi Chipmunks: No better way to kick-start our Monday then with an epic chipmunk lightsaber battle. We assume one is a Jedi and the other has clearly gone to the dark side. May the force be with you, brave Jedi chipmunks! 🙂
Horror Movies Breakfast Cereal: The peeps at Wax Eye have a very cool trading card set going on that takes some of the most iconic horror movies and turns them into cereal box mascots. Films like Halloween, The Exorcist, and Children of the Corn all get this awesome breakfast treatment with the artwork reminiscent of all those horror-themed Saturday morning cartoons we watched as kids. These designs were created by Joe Simko, who also did a bunch of Garbage Pail Kids artwork. Love it – Happy Friday! 🙂
Amy Lombard: We love this collaboration between photographer Amy Lombard and nail artist Natalie Pavloski, who create colourful and dripping compositions featuring female hands adorned with fake nails and surrounded by copious amounts of junk food, hamburgers, pizza, donuts. The world of fashion meets food porn. Yum!
Special Effects: Loving this funny video of the worst special effects in movies, which is a compilation of some of the most over the top falls, giant fake sharks, crap green screen backgrounds and bad graphics in cinema. A little something to make you laugh on a Monday – Enjoy! 🙂
Elliot Schultz: We love the work of artist Elliot Schultz who created a mesmerising series of embroidered zoetropes as his graduating project from Australian National University, animating the embroidered designs by placing them on turntables with strobe lights synced to the rotation of the discs. Fantastic stuff! 🙂
Son Lux: We love electronic band Son Lux and their new music video for ‘You Don’t Know Me’, created by The Made Shop and directed by Nathan Johnson. From Son Lux’s fourth album, ‘Bones’, which is out now through Glassnote Records, this awesome vid stars Tatiana Maslany, the fantastic actress who plays at least seven different roles to perfection in the cult clone series ‘Orphan Black‘. Check it out 🙂
