Back to the Future: OCT 21 2015 is the date Doc, Marty, and Jennifer go ‘Back to the Future’. Well it’s now the future and on that date, Eclectic Method will play a ‘Back to The Future’ themed Hill Valley Party in PARIS with the very talented POGO and Giovanni Sample. To celebrate, Eclectic Method have created an awesome ‘Back To The Future Remix’ video which can be downloaded as an MP3 from their soundcloud. This is way too cool, LOVE IT!
Père-Lachaise Cemetery: Directed by Mathieu Stern, ‘Lifelapse’ is a slightly haunting yet captivating time-lapse video which captures the famous Père-Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, encountering mysterious statues, hidden corners and endless aisles of tombs time forgot. Fascinating stuff 🙂
Paris – New York: In 2012, Penguin Books published Vahram Muratyan’s book called ‘Paris versus New York’ and being huge fans of Vahram’s work, Nord Collective always wanted to create an animated version of the book. However, in order to make this tribute, they couldn’t source original illustrations directly, so they used Vahram’s ideas as the base, completely reworking the design and illustrations while trying to keep visual similarity to the original. Nord Collective animated all scenes and asked their dear friend The Cosmic Setter to write and perform original music and sound design for the ‘Paris – New York’ project. It’s fantastic – LOVE!
