YouTube Rewind 2015: Well it’s that time of year when YouTube takes a look back at 2015 with their annual YouTube Rewind video ‘Now Watch Me 2015‘, recapping some of the biggest trends of the year as well as recreating a few classic viral videos. An impressive and beautiful anamorphic sculpture imagined by artist Thomas Medicus, Emergence Lab is an amazing creation that combines six different paintings in a single translucent cube. The pieces of the different paintings were created on 216 strips of acrylic resin, laser-cut and then arranged in a cube filled with a silicone oil. Mesmerising!
United States of Pop 2015 (50 Shades of Pop) is the newest annual mashup by DJ Earworm that combines the 50 biggest hit songs of the year into a new awesome track. Love it – enjoy and Happy Friday, peeps! 🙂
The world’s favourite Korean pop star oddly dances with young and old versions of himself in this wacky video for his new track ‘Daddy’ from his seventh album aptly titled PSY 7th Album. The song and video also feature CL from 2NE1. Never get tired of this guy – enjoy! 🙂
Pixar: The very talented film editor Kees van Dijkhuizen jr. has created Pixar: 20 Years, an awesome supercut tribute to the past 20 years of animated films imagined by Pixar. So many great films – Love it! 🙂
The official trailer has just been released which is the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. This first look features members of the Avengers fighting each other after Captain America and Iron Man have a falling out. We’ve always been a bit ‘meh’ on the Captain films but hopefully this one is a vast improvement. Fingers crossed 🙂 Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to hit cinemas on 6th May 2016.

Eating Makeup: Ummm ok, well this is a very strange short film, trashy and completely twisted…so we obviously love it! Imagined and directed by the LA artist Jennifer Juniper Stratford, if you ever wondered what a beauty vlogger’s worst nightmares are made of, we think ‘Eating Makeup’ is a good starting point…Enjoy and Happy Friday, peeps! 🙂
Spock: We’re baaaaack! Apologies for the break in communication, peeps, but we’ve been on a restful holiday for a few weeks. So to kick off our return to the interwebs, we present you with “The Good of the One” – a musical tribute to Leonard Nimoy and his character Spock by Melodysheep. This video mashup uses an assortment of Star Trek clips where Spock and other characters discuss the notion of the needs of the many outweighing those of the few. Awesome stuff! 🙂
