Selfie Spoon: So US breakfast brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch has introduced the ‘Selfie Spoon’, a selfie stick with a spoon handle for taking selfies while eating cereal…WTF?! It seems the manufacturer, General Mills, is also offering a limited number of the devices for free each day, with the purchaser only having to pay shipping costs – yippee! Because we’ve always wanted to see photos of people with crusty sleep in their eyes and breakfast food stuff caught in their teeth first thing in the morning. We weep for the future…

Apple introduces new iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, Apple Pencil & Apple TV

Apple: During a live event in San Francisco today, Apple introduced a number of new and enhanced products, amongst them the new iPhone 6s with 3D Touch technology and an upgraded camera.

Also announced was the brand new iPad Pro with improved performance 12.9 inch retina display, a full-size Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil, both available from November 2015.

But the most exciting development has to be the new attention given to the long-neglected Apple TV with a brand new tvOS that will incorporate Siri voice commands, access to the App Store, a cleaner flat design and an updated remote control that uses swipe technology. The updated version will be available at the end of October 2015.

McWhopper – This is the best thing ever!

McWhopper is Burger King's mashup proposal to Macca's

McWhopper: Although Macca’s seem to have rejected the idea, Burger King were putting it out there by sending a collaboration proposal to McDonald’s to create the McWhopper, a mashup between the Whopper and the Big Mac, the two most iconic burgers in the history of crap food. Although the McWhopper from these giants of fast food was to be sold only on 21st September 2015 during the International Day of Peace, Macca’s have poo poo’d the concept which is a shame – that baby would of been tasty! Dismaland Bemusement Park: So on the back of its opening, Banksy has released the official trailer for his Dismaland Bemusement Park art installation which highlights several pieces Banksy curated from more than fifty artists around the world, collectively providing a dark and decayed view of theme parks and commercial recreation. Dismaland: So we lost our shit when we saw street artist Banksy had finally unveiled Dismaland, a satirical group exhibition inspired by Disneyland. Dismaland brings together many artists from around the world in a giant parody of our consumer society as seen through a trashy, decaying theme park. After rumours and first photos began popping up on the web, the Dismaland project released an official website presenting a map of the park, but also the list of artists including Damien Hirst, Josh Keyes, Escif, Axel Void, Brock Davis, Espo, Mike Ross and of course Banksy. The Dismaland exhibition, located in the Weston-super-Mare in the UK, is open from 22nd August until 27th September 2015. Amazeballs! – LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE  🙂

The SpinChill can chill a can in one minute, a bottle of beer in three, and a bottle of wine in five. Seems its smooth spinning motion helps avoid foaming typically associated with shaking a drink before opening it, and the device can chill up to 300 drinks before requiring new batteries. Love. Want. Lexus Hoverboard is real and here’s the proof

Lexus Hoverboard: Not too long ago, we posted that Lexus had created the hoverboard prototype we’ve all been dreaming of since Marty McFly flew through the air in Back to the Future II. Well, all skeptics will be happy to know…they actually have and there’s proof that the Lexus Hoverboard IS real! It seems Lexus aren’t really breaking any new ground here – all they’ve done is apply existing superconducting magnetic levitation technology. Industry experts who have tried the Lexus Hoverboard describe it as very difficult to ride yet at the same time unbelievably cool as you are levitating – the feeling so unique that they have nothing else they can compare it to, the closest is ice skating, but even that’s like comparing the finest silk to 300 grit sandpaper. So, is this finally Marty McFly’s hoverboard fully realised? Unfortunately not (insert tear). The Lexus hoverboard requires filling with liquid nitrogen every 10 minutes or so, and only works if your local skate park has several hundred thousand dollars worth of magnets built into its surface (the Lexus Hoverboard skate park was custom built). It’s also probably the most expensive thing Lexus currently produces, making its chances of hitting the store shelves anytime soon almost nil. However, none of that is the point…this is just so AWESOMEEEEEE!!! Check out all the videos below but the first one is a must watch. Enjoy! 🙂

Hoverboard is Happening!!

Hoverboard: If you are anything like us, you have been patiently waiting for this legendary flying skateboard since you first saw ‘Back to the Future II’ many moons ago. Well, peeps, the wait might be over as it seems via the Lexus SLIDE project, Japanese designer Haruhiko Tanahashi has created the first real hoverboard. However…although what we see on the Lexus website is beautiful, and apparently usable, we can’t get too ahead of ourselves – this prototype currently uses superconductivity via magnets and liquid nitrogen in order to fly above a metal plate 🙁 So don’t expect to be flying around the streets hooked to the back of a futuristic car just yet…but we’re getting there! YES, YES, YES!!!

Hank the Beer Tank: We absolutely LOVE ‘Hank the Beer Tank’ which is a very clever, fully portable kegerator that can easily travel around for parties, camping, anything, and can operate off of 110-240V AC, or 12-24V DC. Founders Sebastian Ehreiser and Adam Koeppel are currently raising funds via Kickstarter in order to bring ‘Hank the Beer Tank’ to market and say this about the product “You can plug me into just about anything. And while I am plugged in I use less power than a 60W light bulb. To serve beer. From a keg. Anywhere. I do this by using a super efficient inverter controlled compressor, power electronics, and a digital control unit. I am smart about sipping power, and I wont drain your battery, I will just turn off. Warm beer is always better than a car that won’t start. I carry CO2 with me to keep kegs pressurized and preserved. I can accommodate a sixtel keg of your favorite craft beer. I can cool it to 0F, but who wants a frozen keg? I am also half the size of most kegerators on the market, so I can fit in a small space in your home, truck, boat, or tent. Just don’t leave me outside, I don’t like the rain.” This. is. GOLD!
