We love the creations of Telmo Miel, the street art duo of Telmo Pieper and Miel Krutzmann, whose colourful and poetic work mixes images of children and animals into surreal urban compositions. Awesome stuff! 🙂
Tilt Brush is an exciting new application by Google that uses virtual reality to paint in 3D. This combination of art and technology allows you to create paintings in a three dimensional environment, through brushes of course, using unlikely materials such as fire, stars, or snowflakes – below is a great demo vid featuring street artists Faith47 and Tristan Eaton trying it out. The new Tilt Brush app is currently available for the HTC Vive headset. This is so very awesome!! 🙂
Loving the creations of A.L. Credo a motion designer who has fun transforming artworks of many famous street artists into clever animated GIFs. Awesome work! 🙂
David Zinn: We love the latest creations by artist David Zinn who mixes street art with chalk and anamorphoses, enhancing the streets with his awesome characters. Having fun playing with perspectives and street elements, David imagines quirky and offbeat urban scenes featuring his cute characters, which are mostly improvised and light-hearted – you can keep track of his latest works by following him on Instagram.
Caiozzama: We love the clever satirical collages of Chilean street artist Caiozzama, who plays with the symbols of consumerism and icons of modern society, such as social media and the logos of major global brands. Based in Santiago, Caiozzama’s creations respond to current events taking place in the world, thanks to the sharp and keen eye of the artist, and are a visual commentary on the impacts of globalisation. Awesome stuff!
Dismaland: So we lost our shit when we saw street artist Banksy had finally unveiled Dismaland, a satirical group exhibition inspired by Disneyland. Dismaland brings together many artists from around the world in a giant parody of our consumer society as seen through a trashy, decaying theme park. After rumours and first photos began popping up on the web, the Dismaland project released an official website presenting a map of the park, but also the list of artists including Damien Hirst, Josh Keyes, Escif, Axel Void, Brock Davis, Espo, Mike Ross and of course Banksy. The Dismaland exhibition, located in the Weston-super-Mare in the UK, is open from 22nd August until 27th September 2015. Amazeballs! – LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE 🙂
Caiffa Cosimo: Loving the work of Italian street artist Caiffa Cosimo, also known as ‘Cheone’, who has painted a series of street art portraits that appear to be interacting with the roads beside them. Awesome!
