Radiohead: We’re loving the animated video for Radiohead‘s new single “Burn the Witch” directed by Chris Hopewell and paying homage to a number of different but distinct films including The Wicker Man and The Prisoner as well as current cultural events such as Burning Man. Directed by John Lee Hancock, The Founder is an upcoming biographical film portraying the story of Ray Kroc and his acquisition of the McDonald’s fast food chain. The film stars Michael Keaton as Kroc and Laura Dern as his wife Ethel Fleming and is scheduled for release in August 2016. Looks great!
For The Love Of Spock is an upcoming documentary, directed by Adam Nimoy, that both celebrates the 50th anniversary of Star Trek and reflects on the inspiring life of Spock, actor and father Leonard Nimoy. With Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in the Star Trek reboot films, narrating the documentary, For The Love Of Spock is set for release sometime in 2016. Looking forward to this one 🙂
Looking forward to Disney’s film adaptation of the much-loved Roald Dahl novel The BFG. Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Ruby Barnhill as Sophie, this highly anticipated film features the voices of Mark Rylance as The BFG plus Bill Hader and Jemaine Clement as giants Bloodbottler and Fleshlumpeater. In Australia, The BFG will be released in cinemas on 30th June 2016. This should be a big hit! 🙂
Creed: Adding to their Trailer Mix playlist, Mashable Watercooler have created an awesome new trailer for the Rocky film series sequel, Creed, that imagines what the movie would have looked like if it were produced as a VHS home video release in the 1990s. Funny ‘caus it’s true – love it! 🙂

Twin Peaks: Actor Michael Horse, who played Deputy Hawk Hill, muses about how certain locations become characters unto themselves in the first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated reboot of the classic television series Twin Peaks which is set to premiere on Showtime in 2017. Excited to see where they go with this one.
Quentin Tarantino: Editor, filmmaker and self-confessed cinephile Jacob T. Swinney just created an awesome montage comparing the visual references of Quentin Tarantino with the original films including scenes from Psycho, Citizen Kane, Miller’s Crossing, Django, Metropolis and many more. Quentin Tarantino is a true movie lover and does not hesitate to pay tribute to scenes, actors, and directors in his own films, replicating exact moments from a variety of genres and smashing them together to create his own distinct vision. This video is so cool and it’s great to finally know the exact film some of Tarantino’s most memorable scenes are referencing – enjoy! 🙂
