Sherlock: So the BBC have just released an extended trailer for the upcoming Sherlock special “The Abominable Bride“, where the deductive detective and his loyal friend, Dr. John Watson, find themselves on the case in the 19th Century Victorian era. Sherlock returns to our screens on 1st January 2016, looking forward to this one! 🙂
Jurassic World: Video editor and Jurassic Park fan, Frank Ireland spent 17 weeks creating a fake movie trailer for Jurassic World that brilliantly imagines what the 2015 film would have looked like if released in 1978, using clips from over 47 different classic movies to create his awesome Jurassic World trailer. This is genius – LOVE it! 🙂
Maysgrafx: Loving the psychedelic creations of Justin Mays, aka Maysgrafx, designer and animator based in Los Angeles, who mixes digital collages and glitch art to create visually explosive and colourful neon compositions. Tiny Hamster: The interweb’s favourite Tiny Hamster got into the Halloween mood by dressing up as the infamous ‘Subway Pizza Rat‘ before heading into a haunted house with some of his besties including a robot-inspired guinea pig and a blonde wig wearing bunny. In the spirit of Halloween, Tiny Hamster has also been busy writing his very own book documenting what happened when he accidentally ate some oozy green stuff entitled Tiny Hamster Is a Monster. Is there anything Tiny Hamster can’t do?!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Trailer has finally been released this afternoon so we’ve posted a copy below for anyone who happened to miss it (which is highly unlikely). Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on 18th December 2015. Looking forward to this one 🙂
31 Horror Days: Check out ‘31 Horror Days!’ – a project created by designers Simon Lagneau and Rogé Rogé who are having fun transforming cult horror movie monsters into awesome animated GIFs including Beetlejuice, Carrie, Freddy Krueger, Dracula, Jason, Chucky, Frankenstein and many others. LOVE it! 🙂
Werrington House: Yesterday, for the first time in 183 years, Historic Werrington House was open to the public. We ventured along, as did a few other hundred people, sadly it was only open for three hours and there was a two hour wait to snout through the house so uninterrupted photo ops weren’t to be. It’s hidden right in the middle of 70s constructed suburban dreams so if it wasn’t for the new gates, you’d never know it was nestled in there. For many years it was home to the ‘Father of Federation’ Sir Henry Parkes, Premier of NSW on five separate occasions from 1872 to 1891 and is now owned by former NSW Opposition Leader Captain Peter Collins and his wife Jennine. The restoration is fantastic and it’s great that the owners have remained faithful to the historical value of the property – let’s hope they open up Werrington House again some time soon. 🙂
