We love the amazing creations of Janet Best, an American confectioner and owner of Etsy shop Sugar Bakers Bakery who inserts colourful and edible flower petals, such as blueberry flowers, pansies, and daisies, into her original and bespoke sugar lollipops. Fantastic stuff! 🙂
McDonald’s in Japan have just released an awesome new commercial as a very ‘kawaii’ anime which tells the story of a new, nervous yet enthusiastic employee in a video containing all the classic codes of Japanese animation. So cool! 🙂

Pepsi: To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Back to the Future trilogy, Pepsi will release its futuristic bottle, seen in Back to the Future II, as a limited edition with 6,500 bottles of Pepsi Perfect. These collector bottles will of course be offered for sale on Amazon from 21 October 2015 for the price of $20. This is way too cool! 🙂
Selfie Spoon: So US breakfast brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch has introduced the ‘Selfie Spoon’, a selfie stick with a spoon handle for taking selfies while eating cereal…WTF?! It seems the manufacturer, General Mills, is also offering a limited number of the devices for free each day, with the purchaser only having to pay shipping costs – yippee! Because we’ve always wanted to see photos of people with crusty sleep in their eyes and breakfast food stuff caught in their teeth first thing in the morning. We weep for the future…
McWhopper: Although Macca’s seem to have rejected the idea, Burger King were putting it out there by sending a collaboration proposal to McDonald’s to create the McWhopper, a mashup between the Whopper and the Big Mac, the two most iconic burgers in the history of crap food. Although the McWhopper from these giants of fast food was to be sold only on 21st September 2015 during the International Day of Peace, Macca’s have poo poo’d the concept which is a shame – that baby would of been tasty! KFC: So, to celebrate 60 years in Canada, KFC have created a new chicken bucket that doubles as an instant photo printer. The ‘Memories Bucket’ is a new high-tech, limited-edition big bucket that helps you print your photo on the go as you’re creating them. W. T. F.?! While specs of this device are limited, the functionality seems simple enough – it’s a standard instant photo printer that’s bucket shaped. First, snap a photo on your phone and once the printer is on, select your pic and send it to the printer via Bluetooth. KFC says on its Facebook page that it will be releasing more details about this bucket photo printer soon, and will be giving a few of them away as well. No word yet on whether it will be commercially available to anyone or in any other country (Aussie summer cricket gold!). Oh dear…this is bound to end in disaster. Who on earth wants a pic of someone with potato n’ gravy all over their face? Actually, second thoughts…this could be quite useful. Dirty birdy lol 😉
Horror Movies Breakfast Cereal: The peeps at Wax Eye have a very cool trading card set going on that takes some of the most iconic horror movies and turns them into cereal box mascots. Films like Halloween, The Exorcist, and Children of the Corn all get this awesome breakfast treatment with the artwork reminiscent of all those horror-themed Saturday morning cartoons we watched as kids. These designs were created by Joe Simko, who also did a bunch of Garbage Pail Kids artwork. Love it – Happy Friday! 🙂
Amy Lombard: We love this collaboration between photographer Amy Lombard and nail artist Natalie Pavloski, who create colourful and dripping compositions featuring female hands adorned with fake nails and surrounded by copious amounts of junk food, hamburgers, pizza, donuts. The world of fashion meets food porn. Yum!
